Tammy Diamond-Wells, MSN, RN, NE-BC

Vice President of Clinical/Diagnostic Services and Emergency Department, Arkansas Children’s Hospital

Tammy serves as Vice President of Clinical/ Diagnostic Services & Emergency Department for Arkansas Children’s Hospital in Little Rock, where she oversees Child Life, Patient Experience, Social Work & Interpreter Services, Palliative and Pastoral Care, Pharmacy, Radiology and Emergency Department. She also co-chairs the Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Committee for Arkansas Children’s, the state’s only pediatric health system. The committee’s work is among Arkansas Children’s top strategic aims, as the system improves access to equitable health care for all Arkansas kids and creates an anti-racist work environment, setting an example for the communities it serves. Prior to her role as Vice President, Tammy held the position Director of Acute Services which include Surgical and Medical units at Arkansas Children’s Hospital for more than 20 years. Tammy has been the key note speaker at local community events and podium presenter for Children’s Hospital Association. Outside of work Tammy spends time mentoring individual who aspire leadership development and advancement. She is also a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives and the American Organization for Nursing Leadership. Tammy received her Bachelor’s degree from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock and Master’s degrees from Excelsior College in Albany New York and is a board certified Nurse Executive. She lives in Little Rock with her husband Isaiah and 2 children, Abigail and Isaiah. She enjoys spending her spare time with her family, traveling and creating memories.
