Dr. Stuart Bagatell is the Program Director of the University of Miami/JFK Internal Medicine Residency Program and is an Assistant Professor of Medicine at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine. Dr. Bagatell received his bachelor of science degree from Cornell University and his M.D. from Tulane University School of Medicine in New Orleans. Dr. Bagatell remained in New Orleans for his post graduate training both before and after Hurricane Katrina where he completed his Internal Medicine training and served as Chief Resident. In 2009, Dr. Bagatell moved to West Palm Beach where he currently lives with his wife of 19 years and his two sons. He recently co-authored a book entitled, “Permisson to Die: Candid Conversations About Death and Dying”.
