Quincyann Tsai, MSN, RN has been a nurse for over 16 years, with a clinical background as a staff nurse in adult medical surgical telemetry, post-surgical, infusion and vascular access specialist, and clinical staff educator. She received her BSN from Cal State Dominguez Hills and her MSN from Mount Saint Mary’s University-Nurse Educator track. For over 10 years, Quincyann has been immersed in nursing research and EBP activities at KPSC West Los Angeles Medical Center, which she served as the local nurse research liaison, chair to WLA local research committee (NKIC committee), chair of Regional Nursing Research committee, implemented with her local teams several EBP projects, and a co-investigator on several nursing research studies. Quincyann was a key partner in readying WLA for Magnet designation through her research leadership. She has passion for evidence driven practice, and patient outcome improvements. Her passion in working with people and going above and beyond to meet the unique needs of her patients led her to receive a Daisy Award. She was also an adjunct faculty at Mount Saint Mary’s University School of Nursing, Doheny campus. She is passionate about mentoring clinical nurses and spreading the nursing research process and conducting evidence-based reviews. In her personal life she enjoys spending time with her family, friends, the outdoors, and cooking.
