Padmaja Reddy completed medical school and residency training in Internal Medicine at UT Southwestern. During residency, Dr. Reddy developed an interest in subspecialty Palliative Medicine, particularly in the critical care setting. After completing a fellowship in Palliative Medicine at UT Southwestern, she joined the faculty with an eye on serving the vulnerable patient population at Parkland Hospital. Since then, Dr. Reddy has led a successful effort to embed the Palliative Medicine team in the Parkland Medical ICU. From March 2020-March 2021, she led the Palliative Care team’s COVID-19 response at Parkland Hospital.
