Opal Sinclair-Chung is the Chief Nursing Office at NYC Health + Hospitals/Kings County a 44-acre facility located in Brooklyn New York. Kings County is a Level-1 Trauma Center with 639 acute care beds. Ms. Chung oversees over 1,800 full time staff and is responsible for directing the delivery of nursing care treatment and service for the facility.

Ms. Chung holds a Master of Science in Healthcare Administration, a Master of Science Executive Program for Nursing and Healthcare Management, a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, a Certificate in Evidence-Based Practice from Case Western Reserve, and is certified as a Leadership Development Program Coach by NYC Health + Hospitals. Ms. Chung has received many honors and awards for leadership and was recently the recipient of the 2020 Fund for the City of New York’s Sloan Public Service Award.
