Nuri Jacoby is the Vice Chair of Neurology at Maimonides Medical Center and is an Associate Professor of Clinical Neurology at SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University. He graduated from medical school at SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University after which he completed a neurology residency and electrophysiology/EMG fellowship at Weill Cornell. He is the co-director of the neurology clerkship and a member of the Education Leadership Team at SUNY Downstate. He is passionate about medical education and faculty development and has given multiple talks on giving effective feedback, bedside teaching, and humor in medicine.
