Vice-President, Lurie Children’s Healthy Communities, Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago

Mary Kate Daly has been at Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago for 19 years and has served in various external affairs positions. In her current role as Vice President, Lurie Children’s Healthy Communities, she is responsible for providing leadership and strategic direction for the hospital’s community outreach programs and initiatives.  She oversees the hospital’s community benefits strategy and reporting, and manages the Community Health Needs Assessment and Implementation Plan effort.

Mary Kate has been a Leadership Greater Chicago fellow since 2015, and she currently serves on Chicago Youth Program’s Board of Directors and the iHeart Media Local Advisory Board.

She earned a BA from the College of the Holy Cross in Massachusetts in 1998 and an MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management in 2007.

Mary Kate is married and has two boys in elementary school.  They live in Chicago in the west Lakeview neighborhood.
