Director of Ambulatory Care Services, OSF Healthcare Saint Francis Medical Center

Jo A. Garrison, DNP, RN NEA-BC is currently the Director of Ambulatory Patient Care, at OSF Saint Francis Medical Center. Jo received her Doctorate of Nursing Practice from OSF SFMC College of Nursing and her Masters in Science as a Community Nurse Specialist from University of Illinois. In 2019, Jo and her team won the ANCC Magnet Grand Prize for A Comprehensive Community Approach to Addressing Food Insecurity and Improving Health One Zip Code at a Time.

 

She has held various roles within OSF for more than 30 years. She is responsible to plan and direct the development and operations of the hospital outpatient departments in a wide area of settings including Medical Rehab, Medical and Surgical Weight Management, Faith Community Nursing, OSF CARE-A-VAN, School Nursing, Adult and Pediatric Infusion Center, Sickle Cell Clinic, Pain Clinic, Wound and Hyperbaric Clinic, Senior World, Ambulatory Nursing and Bradley Health Clinic. She also serves as a Visiting Doctorate Professor at Bradley University and Chamberlain University.
