Janet Handy, MS, RN, NEA-BC, FACHE is the Assistant Vice President for Inpatient Oncology in partnership with the Levine Cancer Center of Atrium Health. She is responsible for the leadership of inpatient Oncology Nursing. With greater than 4 decades of leadership experience she has championed patient centered care, implementation of Planetree and fostering nursing resilience. She is certified in Nursing Administration- Administration by the American Nurses Association and a Fellow in the American College of Health Executives. She was recognized as a North Carolina Great 100 Nurse and received the 2019 North Carolina Nurse Association Administrator of the Year Award. She had presented at regional and national conferences including NICHE, AARP and will present at the 2021 Magnet Conference. She is a member of the American Nurses Association, North Carolinas Nurses Association, American Organization of Nurse Leaders and American College of Health Executives.
