Geneviève Rouleau, RN, PhD

Geneviève has been trained as a nurse. She completed her master degree at University of Montreal, her PhD at University Laval and her postdoctoral training at the Institute for Health System Solutions and Virtual Care in Toronto (Canada). She is currently a professor at nursing department, at Université du Québec en Outaouais in Canada (Quebec) and an early career researcher. She is interested in the intersection between relational aspects of care delivery, i.e. how connections and relationships are built, and digital health interventions. Her recent works explored the delivery of compassionate care in virtual primary care services, the theorization of relational connections through asynchronous video-based interactions, and the use of virtual patient simulation to improve healthcare providers relational skills.
