Elizabeth has been a nurse for 30 years. The bulk of that time spent in pediatric critical care and emergency transport. In the summer of 2018, Elizabeth joined the Steering Committee as the planning process began to bring Schwartz Rounds to Rady Children’s Hospital San Diego. They hosted their first Schwartz Rounds, January 2019. In 2021, Elizabeth transitioned out of the direct patient care arena and into the Bioethics Program Manager position and Schwartz Rounds Site Coordinator for RCHSD.
