Darrien Garay
Special Gifts Officer, Peconic Bay Medical Center Foundation
Darrien Garay is the Special Gifts Officer for the Peconic Bay Medical Center Foundation. The Foundation connects the community of givers to the life-saving teams at the hospital. Before coming to Peconic Bay Medical Center, Darrien received his Master of Science degree in Medical and Science Journalism and interned at NPR and Harvard Medical School. As a prolific public speaker and Spoken Word performer, Darrien has years of experience presenting in professional, educational and entertainment settings.
Darrien is happily married and has his 5-year anniversary on August 13th. He is also a founding member of v1 Church, which is the fastest growing church in America. Finally, Darrien is addicted to chocolate but has no plans of giving it up.
