Amanda Moses began her career in the field of International Relations. While working abroad in southeast and central Asia as a Peace Corps Volunteer, she cultivated a passion for healthcare as a fundamental human right. Witnessing the value of community-led health solutions globally, Amanda transitioned to a career in health systems advocacy. After several years in patient experience, she decided to pursue her Master’s of Public Health and now works as the Patient Experience Program Manager for Brigham and Women’s Faulkner Hospital in Boston, Massachusetts. As a health worker who lives in a larger body, Amanda’s expertise in dismantling weight stigma within health systems stems from lived experience, dedication to advocacy, and a lifelong passion for social justice.
