Allison A. Norful PhD, RN, ANP-BC is a health services researcher whose program focuses on interdisciplinary care delivery models, provider co-management, teamwork, and clinician burnout. Over the past two decades, Dr. Norful has held several clinical, administrative, and academic positions.  She is currently jointly appointed as an Associate Research Scientist at Columbia University School of Nursing and New York Presbyterian Hospital. Dr. Norful is a Fellow in the New York Academy of Medicine and serves on the advisory board for AcademyHealth’s Interdisciplinary Research Group on Nursing Issues. She developed the Provider Co-Management Index, a novel instrument that validly scales how well two clinicians co-manage the same patient. The instrument is currently being used by several global research and clinical organizations.
