Agnes Barden, DNP, RN, CPXP is an innovative, compassionate healthcare professional leader with a personal commitment to excellence in patient and family experience. Currently as the Vice Present of Patient & Customer Experience at Northwell Health, Dr. Barden is responsible for inspiring, challenging and leading Northwell to design and delivery experiences patients and families desire. She mentors Northwell’s Culture Leaders, serves as faculty for the provider Relationship Centered Communication course, leads Team Lavender and Schwartz Rounds integration throughout the organization and chairs the system Patient & Family Partnership Council. As a Certified Patient Experience Professional, Dr. Barden has presented her work in national conference presentations, poster presentations and publications. She has received national and system-wide awards and honors for innovation and excellence in patient experience. Lastly, Dr. Barden believes it is an absolute privilege with responsibility to care for patients and their families, and that every moment matters.
