Vice President, Quality & Patient Safety, Virginia Hospital & Healthcare Association
Abraham Segres is Vice President for Quality & Patient Safety at the Virginia Hospital & Healthcare Association. In this role he provides leadership for the Association’s statewide quality, safety and performance improvement activities among Virginia Hospitals, health systems and with key statewide stakeholders. Most recently he has led the incorporation of clinician well-being as a core component of the Association’s quality and safety agenda. Prior to joining the Associaiton, Abraham worked for the University of Virginia Health System where he served as director of both the risk management and patient safety programs. Abraham has a Bachelor’s degree in Public Health from the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill and a Masters of Health Administration from Virginia Commonwealth University.
